The formatting panel controls your book’s typography, template, table of contents, and print size. Changes reflect instantly in the live preview.

Format types
Location: Format tab → top format selector

Templates
17 ready-made presets: classic, modern, playful, warm, editorial, minimal, academic, and more. When you click a template:
- Font, line spacing, trim size, and theme colors are applied.
- Settings are saved to the project.
The Apply Formatting button applies selected paragraph styles to the entire manuscript.
Theme Builder
Elements you can customize:
- Accent color (chapter heading highlight)
- Drop cap (enlarged first letter)
- Ornament (chapter divider decoration)
- Heading alignment and case transform
Save with Apply Theme; preview and export update. Custom themes are stored in the project.
Table of contents (TOC) editor
Location: Format → TOC Editor tab
- Override chapter titles in the TOC.
- Remove pages you want hidden from the TOC.
- Drag and drop to reorder TOC entries.
Changes flow into EPUB nav.xhtml and NCX output.
Advanced
- Trim size: 24 presets (5×8, 6×9, A5, 8.5×11… KDP and IngramSpark groups)
- Font: 80+ Google Fonts (Latin Extended, including Turkish characters)
- Font size & line spacing
- Large print preset: One click — 8×10, 16pt, 1.5 line spacing
- Visual page: Title, fit mode, bleed
Changes in the Advanced tab auto-save after ~600ms.
After changing format, use the right preview in Editor or device modes in the Preview guide.
