What is Manusly?
Manusly is a browser-based publishing workspace for independent authors. Start in the online editor or use optional desktop apps. Writing, formatting, validation, cover review, marketing copy, and export work together in one project.
Core philosophy: write once, publish everywhere. From the same project you can produce Kindle, Apple Books, and print-ready PDF output.
Core workflow
Home → New Book → Editor → Format → Preview → Export
- Create a project — Choose a book type (novel, children’s book, general ebook, etc.).
- Write — Add chapters, scenes, or visual pages; drag and drop images.
- Format — Set template, fonts, trim size, and table of contents.
- Validate — Use Dashboard, Manuscript Analyzer, and Publishing Assistant to spot gaps.
- Export — Download EPUB, Kindle, PDF, or DOCX from the Export tab.
