The Distribution Center (Export tab) produces all publish formats from one place. Each format shows platform compatibility info and the last export date.

Where is it?

Supported formats

EPUB / Kindle export
- Click Export EPUB or Export Kindle.
- Choose a save location.
- Validation results are shown (errors/warnings).
Kindle export provides KDP compatibility feedback. If a cover image is defined in the project, it is embedded in the EPUB.
PDF export
- Trim size: From format settings or the export panel
- Print profiles: KDP, IngramSpark, generic — bleed and crop marks
- Preview full book: Full preview before export
The PDF engine uses Chromium printToPDF; it waits until fonts are loaded.
DOCX export
One-click Word-compatible document. Images are embedded or linked as appropriate.
Platform cards
The export panel shows compatibility notes for KDP, Apple Books, Kobo, etc. Warnings for missing metadata or cover also appear on Dashboard and Publish.
Pre-export checklist
- Is metadata complete? (Settings)
- Is the TOC correct? (Format → TOC)
- Is there a cover image?
- Are Manuscript Analyzer warnings resolved?
